Join our Congregation Bayt Shalom community as we pray, sing, and reflect on our lives. All our welcome to attend our Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, no tickets required. We appreciate donations to keep our High Holidays services open to all.
On the erev Shabbat (Friday evening) during Sukkot, we celebrate the holiday with “Pizza in the Hut”, a fun pizza meal enjoyed outdoors in our community sukkah.
On the closest erev Shabbat to Simchat Torah we come together to dance and march around the sanctuary with the Torah scrolls, sing and clap loudly, wave flags and celebrate reading the Torah. We finish reading the Torah and start again from the very beginning. Jewish musicians enhance our celebration. Adults and children are welcome and encouraged to come dance with the Torah scrolls.
Whether we’re having fun at Hanukkah party, enjoying an olive oil tasting, or eating delicious chocolate at a Hanukkah Chocolate feast, CBS always has a unique and special way to celebrate this fun holiday.
On the Sunday morning closest to Purim, CBS comes together for a Megillah reading with costumes, noise and merry marking followed by a Purim carnival with crafts and games.
On the second night of Passover, the community celebrates Passover together with a community seder led by Rabbi Luna.
We gather together to remember, honor and mourn during our Yom Hashoah service to commemorate the Holocaust.
